Johannesburg Then & Now
Exhibit

Johannesburg was established in 1902 when the Johannesburg Manufacturing Company was established by Ernest Salling, Nels Michelson, and Rasmus Hanson.  The town was named for Rasmus Hanson's sister, Johannah (Hanson) Bay.

The exhibit focus is on 3 phases of the property: 
1. Johannesburg Manufacturing Company
2.  Echo Valley Resort
3.  Louis M. Groen Nature Preserve
