Otsego County

Quality of Life Assessment

Indicators

Indicators are used to measure specific parts of the Quality of Life model.  For example, if we want to see how Otsego County is doing in the category of Education & Lifelong Learning, we could look at things such as high school graduation rates, dropout rates, and MEAP scores.  Various indicators for each of the 12 categories that make up our Quality of Life will be reported to show if are improving, staying the same, or declining.

     1.  Arts & Culture
     2.  Community & Civic Engagement
     3.  Economy
     4.  Education & Lifelong Learning
     5.  Faith-Based / Spiritual
     6.  Government & Politics
     7.  Health & Wellness
     8.  Housing
     9.  Infrastructure
    10.  Natural Resources & Environment
    11.  Recreation & Leisure
