Mt. Carmel Centre is the former St. Mary Catholic Church that now serves as a performing arts center.
Located in the heart of downtown Gaylord, Mt. Carmel has been a landmark for over 100 years.

History
Mt. Carmel Centre was created in 1985 when a small group of local residents purchased the former St. Mary Cathedral.  Click here to read a short narrative and view photos.  Additional background information can be found in the Parish's centennial history book "Sown On Good Ground".
