The Friends of the Otsego County Library are dedicated to enhancing the collections and services of the Otsego County Library by providing sustained financial support as well as educational and cultural opportunities for its members and the community. FRIENDS desire to build a partnership between the library and the community to advocate for quality library services for all of the people of Otsego County.

FRIENDS provide vital support for the Otsego County Library by:

  • promoting and publicizing the usefulness, resources and needs of the library.

  • providing support for programs that extend the visibility and importance of the library within the communities it services.

  • recruiting volunteer time and talents to support and expand Otsego County Library programs and events.

  • raising funds to improve the resources and services of the Otsego County Library.
