 Dear Grant Seekers,

The Otsego County Community Foundation is pleased to again offer local nonprofit organizations the opportunity to apply for grant funding for programs that address community needs.  It is expected that approximately $10,000  will be distributed in this grant round, with awards ranging from $500 to $5000 for projects taking place after October 1, 2008.  Applications must be received in our office by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2008 for consideration in this grant round. 

Grant proposals will be accepted per the announcement of Requests for Proposals, with total awards based on the income generated from the Foundation's endowed funds.  The Otsego County Community Foundation’s assets continue to grow, ending 2007 with an estimate of over $2.4 million.  We are committed to growing our endowments so together we can make Otsego County an even better place to live.
