Ann Wright, Coordinator, is very busy working on projects for the coming year; Doris Schulz, Vice President, is working on the window displays; Maureen Ballenger, Treasurer, keeps busy paying the bills plus helping with special projects where needed; June Strappazon and Roberta Hudson are busy cataloging new artifact collections; and the Board of Directors are busy working on our vision for the coming years for the Museum. And I’m trying to keep up with all of them!!   The Aspen Ridge Assisted Living Center brought some of their residents to the Museum and they had a great time looking at all the displays! They spent an hour touring our facility with Roberta Hudson helping me show them around.   Be sure to read Ann Wright’s article in this newsletter regarding our Museum theme for 2005 and the way you can help.   Thanks for a great summer season, everyone!                                                                                                                                   Ginny Text Box: VOLUNTEER NEEDED   We have a pattern for a small movable display. We are looking for a hobby finish carpenter to make this display. All materials will be provided. Text Box: GINNY’S GEMS   To think too long about doing something often becomes its undoing! Text Box: ELMIRA DISPLAY   Elmira is the theme for one of our window displays this fall. The display depicts Elmira as a thriving town and agricultural area of the past. Pictures from the past along with current pictures of the same sites are on view. As you walk downtown be sure to stop and see the display.   This winter Otsego Lake Township will be highlighted in the front window. We thank all of you who responded with your checks as this enables us to keep our Museum open and current with all our artifacts on display.
