Livingston Township Minutes

The regular meeting of the Livingston Township Board was called to order at 7:30 PM with the pledge of allegiance by all.

Present at the meeting which was conducted according to open meetings act #267 were Brecheisen, Prusakiewicz, Dipzinski, Carlson, Mench, and 15 visitors.

It was moved by Dipzinski seconded by Prusakiewicz to approve the minutes.

A motion was made by Mench seconded by Dipzinski to approve the treasurer’s report as read.

It was moved by Dipzinski seconded by Carlson to approve the bills.

It was motioned by Dipzinski seconded by Mench to approve the renewal of the three year terms on the planning commission for Mike Mang and Mark Stephens. Motion passed.

It was moved by Prusakiewicz seconded by Carlson to approve the MTA Conference in January for Dipzinski and Mench to go. Motion Passed.

Mike Roper presented information on the proposed Roundabout west of Gaylord High School on highway US 27 and the university Center. The cost will be approximately $320,000.00. There are grant monies for $200,000.00, leaving $120,000.00. The road commission is willing to add $60,000.00 leaving the remaining $60,000.000 to be raised form other sources. No financial decision at the township level has been made at this time.

Meeting adjourned at 8:40 pm. Next regular meeting will be November 28th at 7:30 P.M.
