The 2007 Fall/Winter season has started!

What we are:

The Gaylord Gators is an independent, not-for-profit, age group competitive swim team operated solely by parents and administered by an elected Board of Directors, all of who are volunteers. Age group swimming means that boys compete against other boys in their own age group, and girls compete against girls in theirs. The age groups are 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-18. Swimmers may compete in MTLS dual meets (against another MTLS team either at the Sportsplex or away), invitational meets, the MTLS Novice and Championship meets around the state.

Where we practice:

The team works out and hosts swim meets at the Otsego County Sportsplex in Gaylord, MI.

Why we do it:

The purpose of our swim club is to encourage a life-long love of the sport while developing individual swim abilities, good sportsmanship, teamwork, self-discipline and enthusiasm for competitive swimming by participation in regular, supervised swim workouts and meets.
