FALL CREATIVITY WORKSHOPS

Oct 16, 23, 30 "Figure/Portrait Sketching ."
(Live models, an instructor available.) 1:00 pm-3:30 pm.
Cost: $15. Supplies needed: drawing and/or
painting supplies of student's choice.



Oct 20: "Watercolor: Color Study of Fall Trees"

with Faith French. 1:00-3:00 pm. Cost: $25.
Supplies needed: Watercolors, paper, #8
round & ˝" to 1" flat. (brushes available for
loan) Learn to capture the beauty of fall in
delicate strokes of color. Limited to 10 stu-
dents.


Oct 30, Nov 6, Nov 13:  "Authentic Native
 American Beadwork Workshop"

 
with Cindy Fowler. 6:00-8:00
pm. Cost: $45. All supplies provided. At this 3
session workshop you will learn the square
stitch pattern basic to Native American bead
ing and create your own authentic necklace.
Stop by the Arts Center to see samples of
Cindy’s work. (Call first). Limited to 14
students.


Nov 3: "Landscape Sketching"
with Dave Schweitzer. 10:00 am-Noon. Cost: $25.
Supplies needed: watercolor, paper, brushes
(colored pencils & brushes available for loan).
Watercolor or colored pencil (student's
choice) techniques in the art of capturing the
essence of landscapes. Limited to12 stu-
dents.

Nov 7, 14, Dec 5, 12: “The Art of Watercoloring"
 with Carlene Lagrou. 6:00pm-8:30pm. Cost: $45 for 4
sessions. Supplies needed: Bring own
paper and watercolor paint. An experienced
artist and instructor, Lagrou provides new
projects and fresh techniques with each of
her workshops. Her workshops fill up fast,
so sign up soon. Limited to 11 students.
