Native Plant Nursery
The Conservation District's Northern Michigan native plants nursery is your one-stop shop for local wildflowers and
grasses that are native to Northern Michigan!
Native plants are great for gardeners that are looking to maximize beauty and wildlife value while minimizing care.
These plants work wonderfully for landscaping, creating buffer strips along lakeshores and stream banks, and for
attracting pollinators and other beneficial insects, including butterflies, to your property.
• Over fifty species of native wildflowers and grasses available for purchase.
• Nursery opens late May/early June every season.
• Nursery visits can be scheduled by calling (989) 732-4021. We
will be happy to meet you in the nursery any time between
8:00AM and 4:30PM, Monday through Friday.
• Directions to the OCD Native Plant Nursery

individuals commited to the conservation of our natural resources. Hundreds of volunteers provided the labor to build this state-of-the-art greenhouse.
