Otsego Conservation District

“Your gateway to natural resource management”

Native Plant Nursery

The Conservation District's Northern Michigan native plants nursery is up and running!  It is now a local source of wildflowers and grasses native to Northern Michigan for landscaping, buffer strips along lakeshores and stream banks, and gardens to attract pollinators. The OCD is dedicated to improving the water quality of Otsego County.

  • Over fifty species of native wildflowers and grasses are available for purchase.

  • The nursery will open for the 2012 season on June 2nd.

  • If you can’t make it to the native plants sale on June 2nd, don’t worry. Just call (989) 732-4021 and we’ll meet you at the nursery anytime between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Sponsors

The native plant nursery was made possible by the time and funds given by local organizations, units of government, and individuals committed to the conservation of our natural resources. Hundreds of volunteer hours provided the labor to build this state-of-the-art greenhouse.
