Summer is a busy time at the Otsego Conservation District!

In May we will be having multiple two free workshops including a
Spring Woodland Wildflower Walk with the HeadWaters Land Conservancy on May 23rd and Herbs 101 wsg. Judy Wagley on May 29th.

June 1st brings the Season Opener for the Otsego Conservation District Native Plant Nursery! In addition to making available our selection of over 50 native wildflowers and grasses for the 2013 season, this year we will be featuring a number of mini-workshops throughout the day on topics such as landscaping with native plants, shoreline landscaping, creating buffer strips, and designing butterfly gardens.

On June 15th the Otsego Conservation District will be leading a
Household Hazardous Waste collection day for the first time in several years. Drop-offs will be free for residents and a small charge will be made to local businesses.

June wraps up on the 29th with the
2nd Annual CEE Art in the Garden Festival Fundraiser. This festival features hands-on workshops for children and adults, an outdoor art gallery, silent auction, and live music from great musical acts including Bon Jurke, Ann and Will Rowland, Fauxgrass, the Appleseed Collective, and Hipps-N-Ricco! And it is all FREE!
